We are here not on a temporary basis, but for a long time. As long as the trust and confidence is there we are willing to serve you forever. If you look at my picture above, I promised you that my smile would be bigger (but not a plastic smile) and worth remembering.

We know that we are still new in your place but as I've said above, we want to get your trust and confidence as a place where you can leave your valuables without worrying of being foreclosed without due notice (several i.e.) to you. Rest assured that your pawned articles are safe in our hands. We made sure that articles you left with us are doubly secured electronically in our vaults, that even the notorious "acetylene gang" would be hard pressed to accomplish their evil intentions if they tried to.

For all the gentlemen out there who wants to know me and my officer-in-charge Ms. Jessavel Cadavos, we wish to inform you that we are both single (lol). Henry Lhuillier Pawnshop/Jewelry Opens .......with Mayor Yoly and Loreta Tupa

Today May 3, 2010, marks another milestone for the people of Palompon, Leyte with the opening of Henry Lhuillier Pawnshop and Jewelry located right in front of SM shopping mall at Rizal Street with the Mayor himself and Mrs. Loreta Tupa doing the honors of cutting the ribbon, officially signalling the opening and Father Antonio P. Adre leading the blessing of the said place place.

The cutting of ribbon started at exactly 10:00 AM with the blessing immediately followed after with Mr Dante Verano of H. Lhuillier, area head for Region 8 representing management in the said affair.

Also present of course is the officer-incharge of the Palompon branch Ms. Jezzavel Cadavos and her able assistant Ms. Jinky Camacho.

There are other employees present coming from different branches in Leyte, as can be seen by the proliferation of yellow colors printed with the logo of the said company. Particularly present were Ms. Christine Mherry Aprilyn R. Bayate of Isabel Branch and also Ms. Jinky Unabia from Maasin City Branch 1.

After a little while or right after the blessing, it rained so to speak with candies and coins thrown in the air and direction of people converging in the small office space and even at the streets where some people are ogling and wondering whats happening, only to find out that its raining manna (i.e candies and coins) from heaven.

Of course we cannot forget the food offered by the newly opened pawnshop/jewelry shop right after the blessing. Food that was catered by Beltran catering at Taft street, Palompon, Leyte.

There were so many foods in the table, but at my age I am not particular anymore about whats on the table as long as there is fish of whatever cooking style it is, I am not adverse and will readily take it so long as my hungry stomach will be filled.

Slowly afterwards, the employees assigned with the help of the area manager himself began accepting "prendas" from townfolks, the aim of which is to avail of the free T-shirt given free to the first 100 customers.

I even tried to ask for an assessment of my personal ring which happily was given an assessment of P11,100.00. But I didn't immediately pawn it since I don't have any purpose of what I'll do with the proceeds of the money.

Another establishment will be joining those who are in the rush of making their presence felt in the ever growing and newly discovered business opportunities available in Palompon, Leyte.

The signing of Contract between Atherton Pawnshops Corporation with trade name HENRY LHUILLIER PAWNSHOP of Cebu City and Mrs. Connie Marilao-Elep of Palompon, Leyte was done at Cebu Holdings Center, Inc., Cebu Business Park, Cebu City yesterday, October 30, 2009. They expect to open business in the early part of 2010 after renovating their rented space located in front of the new SM (Sayong & Manuel) shopping mall at Rizal St., Central I, Palompon, Leyte.

An unexpected delay in the opening of BRODETH HOME Store was not a surprise since the owners want a presentable display center that can be compared and even better than those existing in Leyte of even Cebu. But of course, they wanted that the pricing of their product can be compared or even lower than those they can find anywhere in Leyte or Cebu. Since they were not able to open last October 28, 2009, a new date was scheduled on November 9, 2009 for its soft opening. And they hope that nothing can stop anymore the said timetable......

The new traffic regulation being enforced by the local police at Rizal Street where the local "potpot" is banned from entering Rizal St., from Brgy. Ipil III to Brgy. San Isidro, is something that should be thought of more thoroughly, since many shoppers of SM shopping mall who depend on the local "potpot" for transportation is against the implementation of the said regulation which they believe is not supported by a local ordinance from the municipality. They at least wanted a "one way" rule where they can still ride the transport of the poor who have no car or service of their own.
