Resort experience gets better

Take the case of Punta de Fabian in Baras, Rizal. Already a byword among leisure and business travelers, Punta de Fabian continues to make the resort experience even more satisfying with new facilities in its property. The resort recently opened its new function room, the Rizal Hall, for its business-oriented guests. The Rizal Hall, which can accommodate 80 to 100 guests, includes amenities such as an LCD projector screen, podium, sound system, white and easel boards, microphones, pads, and pencils. Mints, candies, and flowing coffee are provided during the function. Punta de Fabian general manager Theresa Joy Pamintuan says, “We are definitely giving our guests the best amenities possible with our new function room. Aside from these facilities in the Rizal Hall, they will also delight in the room’s scenic view of our infinity pool and Laguna de Bay.” “For guests who come here for meetings and seminars, we also offer the Gazebo and Francisco Hall. Both are also equipped with the latest audio-video equipment. Our efficient in-house facilitators are on standby should guests request for assistance,” Pamintuan adds. Groups who are here for team-building events have the 1,000-square-meter maze all to themselves. She says, “The maze has challenging courses, yet it provides hours of fun for our guests. It really is the ideal set-up for bonding and learning with colleagues and associates.” Even outside the function room, guests will find the surroundings just as relaxing. Punta de Fabian offers a magnificent view of the mountains, hills, and towns of Rizal province. They can even explore Baras’ neighboring towns for food and cultural trips.  “We know that a lot of travelers these days go out of town to unwind. With this in mind, we wanted to provide them with the features and facilities that help them relax and spend quality time with their family and friends. These offerings come in the form of our 160-sqm infinity pool, Jacuzzi, lagoon-shaped pool, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts,” she adds. Pamintuan also mentions that indoor activities are provided by their billiards, table tennis, darts, game boards, and videoke. She says it is the sense of exclusivity for reserved guests that attracts families and groups of friends to the resort. “Punta de Fabian is so kid-friendly that we built the children’s pool right near the adult pools. That way, their parents and guardians can keep a watchful eye on them,” she says. The resort has 27 lakefront rooms. Each has hypoallergenic pillows, spacious beds, TV, separate shower and bath, terraces, Wi-Fi Internet access, and all-natural toiletries from Bath Origins. A café, a restaurant, a poolside and scenic deck-bar, and a garden reception all complete the Punta de Fabian experience. With summer fast approaching, Punta de Fabian is offering promo packages for group and individual reservations from March 15 to June 15. The day tour package (accommodations are excluded, by the way) is inclusive of morning snack/lunch and afternoon snack, and the use of the resort’s swimming pools. For a group of 10 persons or more, there will be a complimentary day tour package for one person. For guests availing themselves of the overnight package, if they will book two consecutive nights’ stay in any of the rooms, there will be a 10 percent discount on the second night. Three consecutive nights’ stay will offer a 15 percent discount on the total room package (accommodations only). Despite these new features and promos, Punta de Fabian is not stopping. Fact is, there is a new lobby area in the works, as well as eight additional rooms to be launched this summer. Pamintuan declares: “We always think of our guests’ convenience and satisfaction.
