After four decades, the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) a school of higher learning located in Palompon, Leyte is proud to show to the world their accomplishment in the past 40 years. With its vision, mission and goal clearly established, they are sure to accomplish the much coveted prize of their hard earned labor despite the problems and difficulties encountered along the way. Since 1972, it is apt to say that they are "Building better lives" as their theme this year or after 40 long years...........

The much expected parade of the PIT Faculty, Administration, Staff and Students started at the PIT grounds with the following contingents and/or order of the parade:
LHS Drum and Lyre Corps
"Celebrate With Us" words that humbly persuades everybody to join the celebration of their 40th Charter Anniversary of its Founding which is "Building better lives" after all these years.
The 1970's Group composed of BSMT, BSMarE, BSHTE, BSEd, LHS Students COMEd, and COEd Faculty, CS Employees under the 1970's Group.
Guest Drum and Lyre Corps from the Colegio de San Francisco Javier exhibits their exuberant attitude despite the morning sun's heat, dust and sweat washing out their make-up painstakingly done for several hours before the said parade.
The 2000's Group includes the BSSM, AB Communication and BSHRM Students, CAS Faculty and Staff
