What’s the use of your wealth if you can’t enjoy it?

ALTHOUGH Akbayan party-list Rep. Walden Bello’s tirade of former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo bordered on vulgarity, she certainly deserved it.

Bello’s privilege speech described Arroyo’s nine-year rule as “orgiastic compensation, brazen manipulation of government agencies for political purposes and massive waste of people’s money.”
He also said her subordinates behaved “like pigs,” with her as model.
Now, the shoe is on the other foot: GMA is now being oppressed and put to shame—and by her own colleague yet.

When she still held the highest post of the land she was the oppressor—she used her husband Mike Arroyo to hound the media by filing libel and other charges against journalists who earned her and her husband’s ire. She would shame her subordinates in public for minor mistakes without regard for their dignity and pride.

The law of karma has caught up with her: Whatever you do to your fellowmen will be done also to you.

Many have seen also the pathetic look of another rich man (on prime time TV, with plastic tubes on his throat and belly)  who once crowed about his "Legacy" which many of our pensioners, including retired teachers, policemen and businessmen who were victimized by subordinates and closely identified circle of this fellow, but as they say the law of karma will caught up with the likes of him, no matter what or come what may.
