There is an ongoing construction at the Palompon Bus/Jeepney Terminal that is making people look and listen. Not because another business is being established, but because the said area was again taken by an outsider, or from other places rather than Palomponganon. They said that the facade or frontage of the terminal was rented and being improved by a businessman from Ormoc City at the expense of would-be businessman from this town.
Some are saying that the limited government infrastructures in Palompon, Leyte should be biased for Palomponganons. They must be given first priority on matters such as this. Local residents have also the ambition to succeed in life by being entrepreneurs. So long as they follow or agree to the terms and conditions stipulated by the lessor, then why not try entrepreneurs from Palompon first.
