Hong Kong is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia. It host numerous attractions, such as theme parks and museums as well as being a mecca for shopaholics. Tourists visit Hong Kong all the year round, but the best time to go there is from mid-December to February, when the weather is cooler.

Victoria Peak
The Peak, as it is known, is a viewpoint that you will find at the top of Victoria Hill. It is located outside the city. From there, you can have a view of the entire city with its magnificent skyscrapers. If you want a perfect view of the city's skyline, I recommend that you go there during sunset and midnight. To reach Victoria Peak, simply take the train from the city proper going to Victoria Peak.
Ocean Park
Ocean Park is one of Hong Kong's most popular theme parks. The park has lots of different rides such as roller coasters, Flying Swing, Clown a Round and many more. In addition to various rides, Ocean Park is also perfect for animal lovers. The park has a massive oceanarium, marine encounters and shows where you can meet and watch sea lions and other animals perform. If you want to enjoy Ocean Park to the fullest, go there as soon as the park opens and stay there for the entire day. To get there, take a direct bus from the downtown area.

Hong Kong Disneyland is another popular tourist destination, especially for families. Hong Kong Disneyland was built in 2005 and is located in Lantau Island. If you haven't been to any Disneyland Parks before, then make sure that you visit Hong Kong Disneyland. The park is not only for children, but also for people who are young at heart. Expect to see famous Disney characters and the chance to take souvenir photos with them. To reach there; go to the train station, there is a metro train that goes directly to Disneyland.

This is one of Hong Kong's pride and joy attractions, as it is the longest elevator in the world that you should experience. This elevator system runs for 800 meters and elevates 135 meters from the bottom to the highest peak. Mid-levels escalators were built to help people get around Hong Kong's steep and hilly terrain.

When visiting Hong Kong, never fail to visit and experience night shops on Temple Street. As soon as the sun goes down, you will see all sorts of traders set up their own merchandise. You will find different stalls of trinkets, clay, pots, prepared meals, clothes and many more along the entire street. The best thing about this night market is that you can haggle and every item is cheaper compared to if you buy these things from other shopping malls.
